Thanksgiving

Well This year Stephen and I were not together on Thanksgiving, it was tough but good! He called me that morning and was able to talk for about 30 min(which in Army time is FANTASTIC) then He got to eat his dinner which was served to him by his Drill Sargents. He said he had a good time. He got to watch football and write letters and even take a nap.

As for me we had the family over at my parents and we just had fun. We enjoyed dinner and played games, did puzzles, ate some more! Looked through shopping ads so we could get up at 4:30 to hit the sales!

All in all it was a good Thanksgiving.

Tear Gas....

Well Stephen got to call home last week, and he was so excited to do the gas chamber! He told me all about it! Strange husband I have! There is a website where they post pictures of his platoon and I found a few of him coming out of the gas chamber! I hope you enjoy! I do have to say at least he didnt have spit and snot everywhere like most of the people!!! YUCK!

In the Army now!

As most of you know Stephen left for the Army November 3 2009. He is at Basic Training in South Carolina. He was able to call home a few times the first week! Then they took away his phone and I have only heard from him 2 times in 2 weeks! He has also written 2 letters home! He says that it is hard, but he is proud of himself for working as hard as he has! He is loving all the fun(at least he thinks) stuff that he is doing! Ill keep everyone posted with his fun life experiences!!!!
